                                  How to enter unlock codes in Blackberry phones


There are several different ways to enter unlock codes in Blackberry phones depending on the model.
The first method should be tried for any model as it is a reasonably universal and easy method, only if this fails try the next method recommended for your model of phone. Most Blackberrys are locked on the MEP2 code, so for this guide we will use that as an example; if the phone is requesting MEP3 or MEP4 to be unlocked, use the correct code from the set we will send you.
If your model is not listed and none of the methods are working for you, please contact us and we will be happy to help you find the correct method for you phone.
Method 1.
Power on the phone with a non-accepted SIM card; once it has powered up there should be a message on the screen requesting the MEP2 code. Just enter the MEP2 unlock code we supplied and with that; the phone will be unlocked.

Method 2 ( 6xxx & 7xxx models).
1- Power the phone on with a SIM card (preferably a SIM card from the same provider the phone is locked to)
2- Go to “Manage Connections” => Turn Off all connections
3- Go back to the main menu and select SETTINGS =>  SIM card
4- While holding the SHIFT key, type “MEPD”
5- You should now see the five locking categories listed.
6- While holding the “ALT” KEY, type “MEP2”
7- You are now prompted to enter the Network MEP code (it will also state how many attempts are left)
8 - Enter the code we supplied
9 - Enter Return/Enter
10 - The device is now unlocked
11- Go to Manage Connections => Turn ON all connections

Method 3 (8xxx & 9xxx models)
1- Power the phone on with ANY SIM card
2- Go to Manage Connections => Turn Off all connections
3- Go back to the main menu and select OPTIONS => ADVANCED OPTIONS => SIM card
4- While holding the “SHIFT” key, type “MEPD” (On suretype keypad 8100, etc: press: 9(M), 1(E), mute 2 times (P), 4 (D)).
5- You should now see the five locking categories listed.
6- While holding the “ALT” KEY, type “MEP2” (On suretype keypad 8100, etc: press: 9(M), 1(E), mute 2 times (P), 2).
7- You are now prompted to enter the Network MEP code (it will also state how many attempts are left)
8 - Enter the code we supplied
9 - Enter Return/Enter
10 - The device is now unlocked
11- Go to Manage Connections => Turn ON all connections

Method 4 (9100 3G model)
1- Power the phone on with a non-accepted SIM card
2- Phone will request Network (MEP2) or Service Provider code (MEP4)
3- Enter the matching code we provided and press ok

Method 5 (9530, 9550 models)
1- Power phone on with a SIM card
2- Go to Manage Connections => Turn Off all connections
3- Go to Options Menu => Advanced Options => SIM Card
4- Press the Menu button, select “Show Keyboard” (the telephone has to be in landscape position, horizontal)
5- In the SIM card menu type “MEPD” or hold down the SHIFT key & type “MEPD”, then release Shift, (no text will appear on screen while typing)
6- Unlocking level screen will appear, showing status of the Network.
7- Type “MEP2” (no text will appear on screen while typing)
8- Code entry prompt will appear, 'Enter MEP Code'
9- Dial in the unlock code we provide, press Enter
10- Go back to the main screen , Manage Connections => Turn On Connections
If after the Blackberry 9530, 9550 unlock is complete, you get the message "your call cannot be completed, contact customer care" , do the following:

1- Dial # # 000000 (Send)
2- In the Menu, add your phone number, press on the MENU key and select save.
3- The device will reboot and activate.
Note: Device must Auto-reboot to successfully complete procedure; otherwise, repeat the steps again and allow the phone to auto-reboot. Do not manually reboot phone.
 
Method 6 (9800 model)
1- Power phone on with a non-accepted SIM card (a sim card that is not from the same network the phone is locked to)
2- Phone will indicate it is locked, select Yes to proceed to the unlock menu
3- Phone will request the MEP unlock code
4- Dial in the unlock code and press OK

Method 7 (9900, 9930 models)
1- Power phone on with any SIM card
2- Go to Manage Connections => Turn Off all connections
3- Go to Options Menu => Device => Advanced System Settings => SIM Card
4- Hold down the SHIFT key and type “MEPD”
5- You should now see the five locking categories listed.
6- While holding the “ALT” KEY, type “MEP2”
7- You are now prompted to enter the Network MEP code (it will also state how many attempts are left)

8 - Enter the code we provide.

9 - Enter Return/Enter

10 - The device is now unlocked
11- Go to Manage Connections => Turn ON all connections

Thanks for your information. I got unlock code from this site along with free unlocking instructions UnBBlock.com then unlocked my blackberry 9790 easily
